24-hour solution signals a comfortable future for new rail operating centre
Network Rail Basingstoke is a new rail operating centre (ROC) housing signallers, signalling equipment, ancillaries and operators for the region to help the rail service in the Basingstoke area run more smoothly as part of Network Rail’s main network system.
SitSmart worked with all team members to find the correct ergonomic solution as the chairs used would be experiencing heavy duty use so needed to be robust as well as functional.
The chosen chair was the RH400, an ideal 24-hour chair, featuring easy-to-adjust functions and a great choice for helping to alleviate as well as prevent back pain. Working with the Network Rail team at Basingstoke, we demonstrated the chair and made sure that it was fitted correctly for each user where possible.
